South African and Israeli Apartheid
This is one of the first big pieces that I wrote which I was quite proud of. I wrote this for the “Topics in History: Apartheid” class that I took in fall of 2021. In this, I discussed the similarities between South African and Israeli legislature, especially laws and acts that restricted individuals on the basis of race. It was shocking to see how similar some of the laws both nations had, from marriage restrictions to work restrictions: both nations discriminated on their respective undesirable classes.
