As a student at DU, I studied History, Russian, and writing. I've always been interested in historical topics, and have been able to lose hours diving into rabbit holes online.
I became interested in History sometime around the 6th grade, mostly because of my father. Around that time, I wanted to buy a new game called Total War: Attila. My dad complied, but not before making me write a 6 paragraph essay on who Attila was.
I've been particularly curious into Israeli and Jewish history because of my own family history. My family converted out of the Judaic faith 3-4 generations ago, and that's likely part of the reason why I find so much interest in it.
Now I spend most of my time reading or gaming, and when I'm back in Alabama my cat Hazel likes to join me.
